TrustCenter

Trustcenter are trustable, public or commercial organisations that offer a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and fulfill tasks that are essential for e-mail encryption and signature like:

• certifying public X.509 keys
• providing X.509 certificates via directory listings (LDAP)
• receiving and executing of revocations (revocation service)
• providing details about revocations (CRLs and/or OCSP-server)
• optionally providing additional services e.g. timestamps

With the Z1 SecureMail CA Connector we provide an interface for the Z1 SecureMail Gateway that connects to trustcenter and automatically processes required tasks. It issues, revokes and renews X.509 certificates for the separate users. You can specify settings for these tasks easily for mandators, groups, domains or users in a policy control panel. In addition, it's possible for different trustcenter to use InHouse-PKIs (like MS CA) and the onboard-CA of your Z1 SecureMail Gateway concurrently.

		Comodo offers services for X.509 certicates as well as validation services.
		SwissSign AG is a worldwide trusted Certificate Service Provider who offers ZertES and SSL certficates as well as managed PKI solutions.
		A-Trust is an austrian trustcenter that certifies the identity of communication partners in electronic communication.
		S-TRUST is the central trustcenter of the german financial group "Sparkassen".
		T-TeleSec MailPass is a trustcenter founded by T-Systems.
		TC TrustCenter is a nationally and internationally accredited trustcenter.
		Quo Vadis is a swiss and internationally accredited trustcenter that offers certificates with which the user can apply digital signatures conformable to law and audit-proof.
		GAD Trust Network is a trustcenter of a cooperative financial association.
