Zertificon markets its products and services worldwide using a one-level partner network. To accommodate its sales partners strengths and market alignments, Zertificon has a partner model with the following partner types:

Zertificon Business Partner

Business partners actively market and distribute Z1 products in their own name and for their own account. Due to the less specialized product portfolio and fewer focused sales personnel, business partners are strongly supported by Zertificon themselves or by specialized Z1 product Competence Centers with sales, presales and project implementation.

Zertificon Competence Center

Competence centers have the Z1 product range as a strategic solution in the own IT Security focused product range. They have a high level of technical expertise. Presales, the sales process, piloting and project execution are substantially carried out by themselves. In order to make the most of the Competence Centers' technical skills and their regional proximity to the customer, Zertificon can pass on customer inquiries to suitable Zertificon Competence Centers.

Zertificon Premium Partner

Premium partners actively market and distribute Z1 products as strategic products in their own IT Security focused product range. They have a high level of technical and sales expertise. Acquisition, presales, the sales process, piloting and project execution are substantially carried out by themselves.

Zertificon Service Provider

A "Zertificon Service Provider" is a Partner which provides Z1 Solutions as hosted services. The Zertificon Service Provider operates Z1 Solutions at it's own datacenter and provides the Z1 functions as a remote service to it's end customers. The Zertificon Service Provider defines and guarantees it's own Service Level Agreement(s) (SLA) and fees for it's service. A typical service use case of an Zertificon Service Provider is operating a high available and performant Z1 SecureMail Gateway and Messenger Cluster where e-mail traffic of multiple customers/mandators is routed through. Another, more special scenario is a Zertificon Service Provider operating it's own Z1 Backbone Cluster comparable to Z1 Global TrustPoint (s. www.globaltrustpoint.com) where end customers connect their local Z1 SecureMail systems and other applications.
