What you will be doing
- You are responsible for the design, creation and execution of automated software tests as well as for error analysis, evaluation and documentation of the test results in an agile environment.
- You extend the test automation with meaningful regression test cases.
- You continuously work with the testers of the other teams to improve the agile test processes.
- You automate and execute functional and non-functional tests.
- You build the product test environments and monitor the workflow as well as the documentation of the product tests using BitBucket, Jira and IntelliJ.
- You are responsible for implementing our test automation strategy.
- You perform exploratory testing of new functionalities and work closely with our developers.
What we value in our candidates
- You have at least 5 years of experience in test automation.
- You have several years of experience in programming languages/tools (e.g. Java, JUnit, Selenium) and in agile methods.
- You bring experience with software testing according to ISTQB standards (ideally with certificate).
- You have very good knowledge in:
- test specification methods and test management;
- the automation of tests;
- version and build management;
- dealing with browser-based and mobile applications;
- REST API.
- You have experience with:
- Linux / Shell;
- Git or Docker;
- build tools (e.g. Gradle / Maven);
- Jenkins / Continuous Integration.
- You bring current practical sound application knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and show enthusiasm for them.
- You have up-to-date HTML and CSS skills.
- You can communicate confidently in English (B2), both written and spoken.
- You have experience with Grid technologies.
- You already have experience with test documentation tools (e.g. TestRail).
- You have experience with Appium.
