As a Technical Writer, you help our customers get the most out of our software. You provide guidance to admins who set up and configure the software in their organizations. Your work also has a big impact on employee onboarding and training.
Your Responsibilities
- Write and update guides for installation, setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and APIs
- Tailor the documentation to specific tasks and challenges of your target audience. Keep the content clear and actionable
- Be ready to get technical info from multiple teams and add it to existing documentation, even under tight deadlines
- Help ensure that documentation is updated to reflect product changes and alignment with existing standards
- Prepare release notes and other materials to provide guidance on new features and updates
- Review your colleagues' writing and use their feedback to improve your own work
What we value in our candidates
- Strong skills in writing technical instructions
- Experience with Oxygen XML Editor/Author, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare or similar
- Preferably experience of using DITA to structure content
- A detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and consistency across all content
- Technical understanding with the ability to explain complex information in a way that everyone can understand
- English C1-C2, German B2 minimum
