I am aware that I have to install and host Z1 SecureMail ONE for my company myself. I use a virtual machine (min. 8 GB RAM, 2 CPUs, 80 GB memory; e.g. from Hetzner or Ionos) with a dedicated line to the Internet or a fixed IPv4 address (on-premises or in the cloud) and PORT 25 sending option.

My company uses its own domain with its own mail server. Alternatively, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace packages with mail function.

I am aware that Z1 SecureMail ONE does not include an antispam/antivirus function. I use the Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace functions or a standard antispam and antivirus solution.

All email accounts in my company for external communication are covered with the selected number of users. All emails to and from external contacts are routed and processed by Z1 SecureMail ONE. I therefore license all email addresses, including functional mailboxes such as info@, webmaster@ etc.
