Z1 Energy customers obtain certificate triples for AS4 and API Web Services communication from the registered Sub-CA DARZ. Email certificates according to EDI@Energy standards using RSASSA-PSS algorithm via SwissSign and Deutsche Telekom Security

For emergency communication in the scheduling process and message exchange for Redispatch 2.0, Z1 Energy customers receive their email certificates in accordance with the current EDI@Energy specifications for S/MIME. The certificates are issued by our affiliated certificate authorities SwissSign and Deutsche Telekom Security.

Certificates only for Z1 Energy customers

We procure certificates for S/MIME, AS4, and API Web Services exclusively for customers of our Z1 software solutions. Obtaining certificates via our interfaces is only possible through the corresponding features in our Z1 software products. Retrieval through external systems is not possible.

If you only need a certificate, please contact a corresponding certificate authority directly. Zertificon does not offer standalone certificate procurement.

Certificate search across all Sub-CA of the SM-PKI

Z1 Energy automatically searches for the certificate triples of your communication partners. The LDAP directories of all 12 Sub-CAs of the Smart Metering PKI are directly connected. Z1 Energy identifies the communication relationships between your internal MP IDs and external market partners. It uses the corresponding TLS certificate of an internal market partner to search for the certificate triples of the associated external market participants. The validity of certificates from your external market partners is automatically verified.
