Z1 SecureMail Gateway works like a virtual mail room. It opens incoming and envelopes outgoing mails. Emails are automatically being encrypted, decrypted and signed. Incoming email signatures are automatically verified. Suspect emails can be blocked while alerts and notifications are sent to admins and users. These procedures are processed according to your own individual security policies. All of which can be easily, centrally and flexibly configured via the web based Z1 SecureMail Admin Console.

Employees send and receive emails as usual. User commands can also be enabled.

Z1 SecureMail Gateway acts as an SMTP proxy server that processes the complete email traffic of an organization. It follows both, S/MIME and PGP standards and also provides an automated password based encryption for communication with external users without PKI. Z1 SecureMail is flexibly scalable and easy to integrate into common email infrastructures. It allows access for anti virus, anti spam and content filtering software to the email traffic.
